About Us
We have owned Penthouse 205 since 2022. We live in the UK and spend around eight weeks a year in the apartment, sometimes just the two of us, more often with our children, our parents or friends. It has become the place the whole family gathers, and our children, well into their teens now, still count it as a second home: fishing, beach bars, and a good deal of doing nothing at all.
English Harbour won us over for the life in it. There is somewhere to walk to for lunch, a yacht club on the doorstep, a world class beach 600 metres away and a different yacht to admire from the deck each week in season. It is also an easy place to reach from the UK, seven to eight hours direct with BA or Virgin, and 30 to 40 minutes from the airport to the front door.
Looking After You
We are not on the island every week, so day to day the apartment is looked after by Goldsworthy Management Group, who have been managing villas in Antigua for seven years and know English Harbour exceptionally well. They will be in touch before you fly, meet you at the apartment with the keys and show you round, and after that are a WhatsApp message away for anything you need.
Tell them in advance and they can have the kitchen stocked with the essentials so that the first morning starts on the deck rather than in the supermarket, and they can also advise on the best way to get to and from the airport. Beyond that, the level of attention is yours to set. Some guests like a daily check-in; most want the harbour, a book and to be left in peace, and we entirely understand.
